EXPLORE MURRAY Business Information
The newest members of the Racer Family will be arriving soon and we need YOU to help make their first Murray experience unforgettable! Join us for EXPLORE MURRAY on Saturday, August 15th from 6:00鈥�7:30 p.m. as we roll out the red carpet for incoming Murray State students and introduce them to everything that makes our community special.
This exciting, signature event kicks off Racer Welcome Week and gives local businesses, community organizations, churches, and campus partners the chance to connect with new students, share resources, and show them why Murray is more than a college town鈥攊t鈥檚 home. Best of all鈥� participation is completely FREE!
EXPLORE MURRAY Format:Note: This year's event will be outdoors due to the CFSB Center renovation project.
The event is a 鈥渢rade show鈥� format. Participants are grouped together based on type (i.e. banks, restaurants, churches). We highly recommend you bring printed material, such as brochures or coupons to give away. An alternative to giving away brochures/flyers is to post a flyer with a QR code directing students to social media, a drawing sign-up or a website. Giveaways, promotional items and product samples are encouraged! YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE.
What is Provided:
One (1) table (3鈥� X 6鈥�) with TWO (2) chairs.
What is Not Provided/Not Allowed:
- NO power provided.
- NO tablecloth is furnished.
All Participants Must:
- Register in order to get a table. Those that aren鈥檛 registered will be turned away.
- Set up between 3鈥�5 p.m.
- Staff table from 6鈥�7:30 p.m. Table cannot be left unattended at any time.
