The National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH) convention recently took place in Washington, D.C., and two undergraduate students in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú Center for Communication Disorders (CDI) program had the opportunity to attend.

The Schanbacher Character Scholarship Endowment was established by gifts to the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú Foundation, Inc. (MSU Foundation) from Dr. Eugene & Mrs. Priscilla Schanbacher to recognize and reward young people who possess high moral character; to help develop and promote higher character and integrity in student’s lives; and to provide financial assistance to post-secondary students, who may not otherwise be able to attend college.

The annual Patterns of Distinction – Security Matters Conference took place on April 20 in the Curris Center at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú, with more than 200 industry leaders, students, and staff attending the conference.

The Graphic Design program housed in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú’s Department of Art & Design is ranked #1 in the state of Kentucky for 2023 and in the Top 25 in the South by the Animation Career Review (ACR), a major online resource for people aspiring for careers in animation, game design, graphic design, digital art, and related fields.
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communications (JMC) at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍøÈë¿Ú was re-accredited Friday, April 28 during the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications’ meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
