What is the JPYWO?
The Jackson Purchase Youth Wind Orchestra (JPYWO) is a brand new, auditioned honor ensemble for advanced high school wind and percussion musicians from:
- Western Kentucky
- West Tennessee
- Southern Illinois
- Eastern Missouri
Hosted by the 麻豆视频官网入口 Bands, JPYWO is a supplemental opportunity designed to further challenge students with advanced repertoire, exceptional instruction, and inspiring musical experiences.
Rehearsals & Concert Info
- Rehearsals: Sundays from 2:00鈥�4:30 PM (February-May)
- Location: Price Doyle Fine Arts Center, Lovett Auditorium, 麻豆视频官网入口

- May 9 (day-long event with 2026 guest artist)
Concert Date: May 10, 2026
Tuition & Registration
- Tuition: $170
This fee covers:- Instruction from MSU faculty and guest educators
- Sectional and full ensemble rehearsals
- Sheet music
- Guest artists
- Composer residency and commissioning fee for the new work
- General administrative support

A Premier Experience
In this inaugural season, students will perform challenging and rewarding music alongside peers from across the region. As a special highlight, the ensemble will premiere a brand new work composed by John Fannin, written specifically for the Jackson Purchase Youth Wind Orchestra鈥檚 debut concert.

Each rehearsal begins with focused sectional work, giving students personalized, high-level coaching from expert instructors.
