Inspiration
Trisha and Terry created this scholarship in honor of their parents, Roy and Dollie Clark, both of whom highly valued education even though they never had the opportunity to complete their formal schooling beyond the eighth grade. Trisha and Terry both recall their parents encouraging them in their education, and attribute their highly successful careers 鈥 Terry as an internationally-renowned patent attorney and Trisha as a former global technology executive and now major nonprofit CEO - to this loving support their parents gave them. Through this scholarship, Trisha and Terry will be able to give this same encouragement to other first-generation students.
